PS型离心机是依照制药装备GMP规范设计制作的新机型。电机带动转鼓旋转，在进料转速时物料由进料管引入转鼓，进料达到预定容积后停止进料，升至高速分离，此时可进行洗涤。进料与高速分离过程中，在离心力作用下，液相物穿过滤布及转鼓壁滤孔排出转鼓，经排液管排出机外；固相物截留在转鼓内，分离完毕，停机后启开机盖，由人工从上部卸料或虹吸管吸出机外。
