General EFKA 3033 is a very effective additive, which increases slip and
surface smoothness.
It has excellent compatibility properties, making it very suitable for
use in clear coatings.
EFKA 3033:
§ improves levelling
§ increases scratch and abrasion resistance
§ prevents floating
§ enhances anti-blocking characteristics
§ prevents cratering
Chemical Composition Organically modified polysiloxane

Density at 20 °C : 0.90- 0.92 g/cm3 DIN 51757
Refractive index : 1.400 - 1.410 DIN 53491

Appearance : clear liquid
Applications EFKA 3033 is recommended for all kinds of solvent-based coatings.
Recommended concentrations
EFKA 3033 can be added at any stage during the production
process. If added during the dispersion process, it speeds up
wetting.
0.1 - 1.0% on total formulation
Safety and Handling EFKA 3033 should be handled in accordance with good industrial
practice. Detailed information is provided in the Safety Data Sheet.
Storage EFKA 3033 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an
original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date
of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
