Appellation Faugères C?ntrolée
Faugères is a unique appellation at the foothill of the Cevennes Mountains, the last natural barrier before the Mediterranean Sea in the Languedoc region, south of France. Faugères is produce from a single Syrah block on a private estate with 95% aged in new French oak barrels. The vineyards here benefit from a south facing orientation and naturally dry conditions. The resulting wine is elegant, full of opulent flavor and marked by the complex character of the terroir.
